Fifty years ago, a phenomenon swept over the country that changed lives forever, and the heart of it was on Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco. The movement was called the Summer of Love, and the message was the spread peace. This core message has carried on over the decades and continues to be a source of inspiration for many. For those who were there, like Kurt "Crowbar" Kangus, the movement left an impact that has forever changed his perspective on life. For those who weren't, like Sunshine "Sunny" Powers, the Summer of Love is seen as a goal to strive for - where peace and love win over everything.
