Finding Shelter
On March 16, the Bay Area became the first metropolitan area in the country to shut down because of COVID-19. While the public waits for a return to normalcy, the idea of sitting idle was not a reality for students at San Francisco State University. During this pandemic, our team of journalists documented their experiences on the front lines.
Balancing the stress and workload of being full-time students was already complicated enough, and with COVID-19 it has amplified. We are workers, caretakers, athletes and storytellers, and we decided to turn the cameras on ourselves to share our stories and the many ways people are handling this difficult time of uncertainty.
